Character Series – Pepper

Today we turn the spotlight on Pepper. She’s the first student Tory is introduced to at her new school, and Pepper quickly takes Tory under her wing, although there may be ulterior motives at play.

Years ago, I came across this digital painting online. It has a signature, though I’ve been unable to trace it’s origins since. As soon as I saw it I instantly knew I’d found Pepper.

Pepper

  • Age – 47
  • Birthday – 1st August 1972
  • Height – 5′ 6″
  • Build – Medium
  • Skin Colouring – Fair
  • Eye Colour – Deep Green
  • Hair – Chestnut
  • Occupation – Supporting Fae to the Lead Guardian.
  • Relationship Status – Single.
  • Fears – Never experiencing true love.
  • Hobbies – Loves girly movie nights with her friends.

As you can tell from the picture, there is no way that Pepper looks 47. She is a faery, able to change her appearance at will. She looks quite sweet with her dimples but don’t be fooled, she can be serious, when it’s needed, and take control of a situation. She has a much bigger role to play in Tory’s life than is first apparent.

Pepper is a huge ball of energy who can be hilarious without even trying. Even her fashion sense is something to be admired. She often wears contrasting colours of ribbons in her hair to ‘compliment’ her outfit. She has many hidden talents, including being able to sing and play the violin.

Magic – Pepper is what is known as an elemental, she can control all four elements at once. This is pretty unusual within the fae community and anyone with this ability is seen as royalty within their villages.

Star Sign – A Leo, known for its ambition, determination, and bravery. Pepper is a fearless optimist who refuses to accept failure, always looking on the bright side of life.

Favourite Food – Anything! Pepper just loves food of any kind. Throughout the book she can be found chomping on everything from biscuits to bacon.

If she was a Chocolate Bar – I would have to go with one of the Cadbury Marvellous Creations that includes popping candy.

If she was a Disney Princess – I could totally see Pepper as Merida from Brave. Of course there are similarities with their appearance, but I’m thinking more along the lines of all the energy that they share. Pepper can certainly handle herself in a tricky situation, much like Merida, plus they both seem to enjoy a hearty meal.
