Wow, it’s been a busy few weeks!
First of all, I’ve been trying to fathom KDP and the software involved with publishing my own work on Amazon. It’s definitely not as easy as it seems so I am a little delayed with trying to get my work out there.
Secondly, I had a week off from writing as I became engrossed in a series of books. Do you ever do that? Start reading a book and then struggle to put it down?
This time around it was a series of four books, the Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard, and unfortunately I had all of the books on hand so I just jumped from one to the next. My husband was complaining that I kept disappearing into my study. It’s not my fault there is a cosy double bed settee in here!
I will try to put up some kind of review or my thoughts about the series in the next week but, for now, I am keen to get back to my writing.
It’s our 10th wedding anniversary on Thursday so I have booked us a nights stay and a meal with our Mom’s at the hotel where it all happened. Ssshhh, don’t tell him, it’s a secret!
If I can get tickets at this short notice, for my anniversary and Mother’s Day present, I maybe treating myself to a few hours at the ballet. Northern Ballet, at Leeds Grand Theatre, are showing a new biopic of the life of Queen Victoria. As she is one of the people I admire, I would be gutted to miss it.
Feel free to follow me on Instagram for my day to day updates and challenges that I am partaking in and I hope you enjoy the rest of your week.
